what's unique to this car, as with all los angeles or the smog pump which is located down here. the norwood cars did not come with that, only the los angeles built cars that came out of the van ice plant. i've mentioned earlier about the flat top hood. you'll notice that this car has the flat top hood. it was later in the production year that chevrolet made the cal-induction hood standard on all z28s. this car was an early production. at the time it was not ordered with that hood. the back of the car, i spoke earlier, about the stripes on the deck lid. an assembly person at the factory had a very limited amount of time to install a stencil and actually shoot the stripes on the car. i would guess there was very few that have the stripes in the exact position as were specked out in the assembly manual. the trunk area is very basic in these cars. zolatone paint was used to do the black background with the green fleck in the paint. the cars had a basic high lift bumper jack installed (gentle music) - my name is james wallace. i'm from west bloomfield, michigan. and i'm a retired eng
